Brought my car in and asked that it be fully looked over and tell me what was wrong and give me a quote with pricing. I advised the temp was climbing from time to Time and needed that looked at and fixed. They replaced the thermostat, along with $3300 more worth of work. My car was having transmission issues and he “didn’t find anything wrong when he hooked it up to the machine”. That was end of July. After my trip I advised it was still doing the same things. He told me he would be out of town for the next two weeks and I could bring it in after he was back. My kid started school during that time and I couldn’t get my car there and leave it for any amount of time due to work and school pick up and drop. My car actually overheated yesterday. It has never gotten fully hot and it went from cool to hot in less than a minute yesterday. I asked his dad to come out and look at it( he’s who I usually use) and he says that the thermostat is the original. When I spoke with Gio he said he for sure replaced it but only that part and not the whole unit because it was a more expensive part. He said when I messaged him about it after my trip he looked it up and my type of car has overheating issues and that he doesn’t know how to fix it. That’s literally what I paid you for! Bottom line, if a machine can’t tell him something is wrong he can’t figure it out.
