Took my car in today to be washed. I always make sure I do not leave anything of value in the car. Well today when I got in the car I noticed a very expensive jewelry item of my husband's in the cup holder. I know it wasn't there when I got out. Come to find out my husband dropped it in between the seat and forgot to tell me. They could of easily of taken the jewelry, but they didn't. Very honest employee's. Will definitely be taking my car back there.

ELLIS CAR WASH I rolled into Ellis Car Wash a couple of weeks back with no expectations whatsoever, other than expecting that my car was about to get wet. In fact, I have to say that I was mentally prepared to be unhappy with their work. Why? Because the world seems filled with disappointing people and services that are never quite able to fulfill their promises. It’s what we've been conditioned to expect. Don’t you agree? Having your car washed can be a little like buying a plain donut – they’re pretty much all the same. Like plain donuts, all car washes seem nearly identical when it comes to their equipment, and their soaps and suds. In the case of Ellis, their magic is found in the hard-working people who do the dirty work. The folks who vacuum out the grit, then dry the cars and hit the interior. I’d been planning on having my car detailed – it’s for sale. The moment I sat behind my steering wheel I realized that having my car detailed would be a pointless waste of money. I’m a little too old to have jumped back out of my car and done my happy dance, but I WAS doing it mentally. Though I can’t say that they made my well-cared-for 17-year-old car look show-room-new, they made it as gorgeous and as clean as they possibly could. Better than it’s looked in the 14 years I’ve owned it. I have NEVER seen better work or close attention to the little things that can drive customers nuts. I suppose I'm trying to say that I was abnormally impressed, and VERY HAPPY with my choice. I forgot to mention that I'm allergic to many scents, or rather, the chemicals that they are made of. I forgot to ask them not to spray any air-fresheners. Apparently, that's part of the cleaning process. Not only was the aroma very pleasant, it didn't bother me. Just one more reason for me to return to Ellis. I don’t think I could be any more enthusiastic about recommending Ellis Car Wash to you -- ESPECIALLY THEIR DEDICATED PEOPLE.

Had truck hand washed here and they charged 75.00 and did it in 20 minutes and did sub par job do not recommend there are many places that do for 35.00 and do great look around

I wish it wasn't as expensive to get a wash here as it is. But I understand that it's because they have actual people doing everything after the car gets cleaned. That being said I think this is the best place in Lodi to get a wash. I have been to two other car wash locations and they only water to get your car cleaned. What happened to using soap. Or for the vacuum machines working. Anyways I will continue to use this location for my washing needs

They literally seen my windshield was broken and refused to try and fix it. They wanted to say it was like that and it was never like that! I can’t believe how a company wouldn’t even try to fix or help pay for the damage. They had seen the damage and clearly wanted to make me feel stupid but they failed .

1)Took car through wash and it destroyed my valve stem leaving me with a flat tire out the wash and damaging my rim. I did have after market caps on, if it was not allowed, it should have been pointed out. Was also blamed my wheels were too wide. Also should have been pointed out or never put into the wash. Never had issues with any other car washes. 2)Wash was supposed to be brushless but brushes were left on and left small swirl marks on paint. 3) Was told owner was going to call to find solution and never received a call.

This wasn't the best experience in terms of quality car wash. In regards to exterior, the vehicle was clean. Heavy salt and dirt from the long road trip were gone. Not many spots were missed, if any at all. The same can't be said for any exterior coatings. Especially trim dressings. So many spots on trim were missed. Extreme amounts of excess product were left to drip down the chrome leaving stains. The tires only had a few spots someone could nitpick and were rather shiny and well dressed. The dressing, however, did cause some sling after driving. Windows were nearly spotless. Very well done. Moving on to interior, this is were they really dropped the ball. Dirt and dust all over the seats. Inside door jambs were not cleaned. A quick wipe down of the arm instantly dirtied my rag. Floor mats were hardly vacuumed. Dash had clear spots they missed. They did vacuum under floor mats pretty well. In all, I spent over an hour finishing up the job and getting the truck to an acceptable level. The interior of the building and the waiting rooms were nice. The place uses decent Meguiar's products. The washes are fairly cheap and they can get the job done in a pinch, but don't expect it to be clean. They rush the job trying to crank out as many as possible. It doesn't seem like clean is actually in their best interest.

I always go here at least once a week or so. I have never been disappointed by there service. They are pretty fast, which is great when you're in a hurry. I always get the full $39.99 wash, that cleans inside and out. They also clean tires and trim on your car and polish. Good job 👍

Im not one to leave a review much less a negative one but this was ridiculous. Took my car here for a wash and wax on my old honda. I usually do it myself but my girlfriend was bringing her car here so I figure I’ll get it done at the same time. When I got it back it was like this. Not even so much as a sorry. I feel like they were avoiding me and let the guy who I dropped it off with give me back the keys. He was a nice enough guy and I didn’t want to flip out on him. But needless to say I will not bring my business here again.

I read the reviews and looked at the pics and most were very old. I also thought maybe people expected too much from a "car wash" and maybe should have looked into a detail rather than a wash. I would not expect my vents to be dust free or a car wash to fix and clean my inability to not spill drinks and food throughout my interior. However I do expect the "best" package to include a proper wash of the outside. This would include bugs..and dirt. They appear to go through the motions, but reviewing the same areas they "did" resulted in a redo when I got home. went there because I didn't have the time to do it myself today, but ended up spending just as much time redoing as I would have if I had just done it myself. And I'd still have the $40+ in my pocket. Positive note: the air fresheners is still the same as it was 20 yrs ago. That's about it. Lesson learned.

I really hate writing negative reviews, but my recent experience wasn’t great. I paid $40 plus a $10 tip, expecting my car to at least be in decent condition afterward. My vehicle is not old and wasn’t very dirty to begin with. When they finished, I wasn’t even notified that my car was ready. I walked up to my car and it seemed like all they did was vacuum. There was still debris on the seats, and dust particles were clearly visible all over the dash. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and speaks with the staff to ensure the job is done correctly in the future.
