I 💘 that it has a lot of great stuff and things I might need or want and that I might be looking for and have. It's kind of like a combination of a real small mini Walmart, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, ?and maybe Kirklands. Also love 💘❤ the new self 💳💵🖥 check out.

Two months still shelves not stocked, can't get into any isle due to display items.. Checkout n kiosk machines do not work Tried the other dollar general located at the end of Smyrna, same . Original Dollar General located in Valu Center was Great, change is not always the best choice!

I had a very pleasant shopping experience today. The store was clean, not crowded plus I found what I needed and most items were on sale, which is always great! The cashier was very helpful and patient when I used my coupons!

Every DG I go to these days, has very little walk room. Un-shelved product just sitting in isles every where in their containers. Quite aggravating when trying to maneuver around the store to shop. Really makes me think twice before going there over another store. Maybe they need more help. A person to stock and a person to checkout. They shouldn't put ALL the work on only ONE person per shift. If so, then overtime should be offered for them, and stay a couple of hours after close.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Absolute worst dollar general, second time in a month I have gone there during open business hours and the workers there have shut down the store. This time they locked the doors 20 minutes prior to closing time and the first time they closed the shop in the middle of the day because they were “receiving an order”. The few times I’ve been in there the lady worker is just sitting in a chair complaining about upper management and expects you to use the self scan feature. At go unbox all the packages sitting in your aisles !

8:30 on a Friday night and they are closed.... Second set of doors still open... Every light in the house is on... that really Good manager left, and it has been going downhill ever since.. no worries though, they'll just build another one a mile down the road.. 🙄

My usual store has been out of stock on many products lately and I had to stop in this store to see if they had what I needed and I will not go back to the old one! This one had full shelves, more options, and friendlier employees! The only thing I don't like is the Shelf checkout being in between 2 employee ran registers and the way the receipt printed out but those are small things compared to my old store!

I live exactly a half mile down the road from this store and have been in it at least a dozen or some times in the past year. At this point, they should just shut it down as it is typically not open during business hours due to "orders being received" or just--and this is literally from a handwritten sign posted on the door-- "Closed due to not enough people". Often, when it is open, there is merchandise stacked in the aisles. Frankly, sometimes it is not safe to have people walking around in it. Dollar General has been on a growth tear for some time, putting stores all over the place. However, until they pay higher wages and commit to having more than 1 or 2 employees per store, customers like myself are going to just write them off as a shopping destination.

My first experience here was not pleasant. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they’re short staffed, but if that’s the issue maybe it’s time to close down permanently until you can get more reliable workers. Seems like from other people’s reviews this isn’t the first time. I stood at the register for 5 minutes and then had to try and track down the store employee. I guess, (during the middle of the day) just as I’d walked in, they decided to close the store down?? The door to get out was locked, so I had to wait for her to check out the guy behind me before I could even exit the store.

I was wrongly accused of stealing on June 7th with my friends, mind you the cashier was flirting with me???. And I showed them my receipt and everything. And he said he was gonna ban us from the store. This shows poor customer service and he need to be removed immediately.

The young man in the front is incredibly respectful & kind, I wish I could say the same about the woman who calls herself a “manager”. Today while I was in I seen her talk down, belittle an talk about that young man when he walked away. Everytime I walk into this store that lady is always complaining about her job & employees. If I were any of them, I would simply quit and give her something to gripe about. Never in my 57 years of living have I witnessed what I witnessed today at this store. I will be calling corporate an filing a complaint against her.

Everything was fine .till I got home as I was putting the merchandise that I brought at this store .I notices a couple of items that was charged on my receipt one of the items was for $7.50 TL 13G 45CT 856174003879. Second item was literacy round up 430001978402 for 0.74 ..I tried calling the store 5 times no answer. So the moral of this e mail and 1 star rate is that double ck your receipt before leaving .
