I think one must be fair when reviewing these places - it depends on the cleaning attendant that u get and how dirty your car really is. From what I can see they are definitely hustling to get the car cleaned. What is a huge mistake and understanding is that this is a hybrid of tunnel spraying and washing plus someone cleaning it. It is NOT touchless or brushless In the tunnel which we are disappointed with but all in all I found that the car was clean and no complaints from me. There is a really cute gift shops with lots of greeting cards, like a holiday hallmark ... they offer buy 9 get 10th free or buy a package of 4 discounts - So I will come back

It's been a really long time since I came to this car wash, so long in fact it's when it wasn't self-serve..... I received a discount so I decided to check it out. I couldn't get the code to work so the attendant was very friendly and helpful. I love all of the vacuum stations and little gadgets that come with each station. The thing that I was most excited about were the towels and tire dressing, yes! They had dark and light towels that were already damp so you could dry your car and wipe down areas inside and out. You can use the same towels to clean your rims, there was a big brush to wipe on the tire dressing that gives your tires the wet look and all included in the price of your wash. That made my day, just the extra little things really help. This will be my go-to car wash place from here on out. I'll add pics next time. *****This is for those entitled people who just pull up and start vacuuming their cars for FREE, please purchase a car wash cause you're going to ruin it for everyone else!*****

Do not wash here! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Went to this car wash because it was on the way. We’re in the area visiting from Arizona. This place left a huge scratch. We’ve had this car less than 6 months and are now stuck to get this detailed at $750. Absolute garbage. Beware! They have you agree to a waiver prior to the wash… that’s saying something! Because they know their wash if awful and a hazard to your vehicle!

This was a very disappointing experience. The car wash itself was poor — no proper soap ( I paid for triple soap and extra shine), no proper wash — they just quickly ran my car through and sent me out. I was one of the last cars, but after me a couple more even came in, so clearly they were still letting cars in at 7pm when they are going to close! When I went to vacuum and dry the car, they started shutting everything down. I was still vacuuming when they turned off the machines and even took away the towels I was using. I asked the guy why the vacuums are off, he told me to move my car and use other one, as soon as I moved my car, the other vacuum shut off. Still 4 or 5 cars were there and who ever is responsible for taking care of customers left and close everything. If you’re going to close, then stop letting cars in. Don’t take people’s money and then rush them out without finishing the service. Totally unprofessional and not worth the price.

So i appreciate the free wash but not worth 25$ I had to dry my own car and a rim got a scratch on it. I did like the rags to use but wasn’t in the way I wanted, usually to get things I missed BUT NOT dry or wash my car if I didn’t just put it through a car wash. Anywho I will give in another attempt to see if it’ just missed my whole car to dry. Other locations charge 8$ to wash and dry with air compressor and vacuum. Only thing I really liked was rags to use. I can’t say 25$ or their minimum 9 was any good here due to bugs still on hood and SCRATCH RIM. Never had an issue to any car wash place prior….

I love that this place has everything you need to do a decent job at cleaning cars on your own. But many of the vacuums have very weak suction, I had to try 3 different stalls to find a good one.

I absolutely loved coming here to wash my car! Unlike other car washes where there’s other people washing my car and I have to pay them, this allows me to wash my car on my own and it provides me all the necessities that I need. They provide towels for you to dry down your car and your tires and they even provide window cleaner as well as tire cleaner or polish that you can add so there’s nothing you need to bring other than your money and yourself to wash your car. ** also the man refilling the towels was super helpful to me and gave me advice on how to do so many things.

I visited for the first time today and thought it was one of the best car washes I have been in Southern California. Great prices ($10 for standard wash), plentiful parking for vacuum, free cloth to dry the car/tires, and the membership program that gives you free car washes after every 4 washes. Most places give you free washes after every 10. I will be returning soon!

I swing by today and it wasn't busy. There were so many clean towels and my car came out so shiny. After all the rain, just imagine how bad my car looked before coming here. I came by to use my B-day coupon. Both the person by the check in and the person who was cleaning up were amazing. I had a very sweet conversation with the person cleaning up. I work from home most days so the interaction I had with them today meant a lot.

Checkered Flag is an excellent car wash. Facilities are clean; there’s a nice gift shop, and the brushes and supplies are well-maintained. The staff is EXCELLENT and attentive… if you need something, just ask and they find it or make it right! I have a Jeep Wrangerl with lots of matte black plastic panels. The tire dressing they supply doubles for the black plastic panels. All the towels they PROVIDE are washed throughout the day, and each car station has really good materials including vacuums, air hoses, and glass cleaner for both sides of the car. AND the car tunnel has super cool neon lights that change colors in a show. Take the kids thru and have some fun at the car wash… then put those kids to work drying the car!!!

Absolutely great experience! My first time at this car wash 🧼 1. Customer service was great 2. Never had such a clean car after a car wash 🧽 3. Equipments were very good. A few things to consider! This car wash is partially self service, wash is by the drive through machine but workers would help you with that too. Vacuum and drying is by you which is totally fine if you want to exercise a little. There are clean towels for drying inside and out, tire cleaner shampoo and separate window washing machine are available. Although you can get a free wash, I’ve noticed that the prices are great. You can take your time or just vacuum and dry your car fast and leave at your leisure. Will definitely go back soon. I loved this place and recommend it 100%. I received so much compliments after the wash. Thank you all for helping!

Ok so my friend told me you can get a free car wash your first time there. So I figured why not! And I am so glad I did! This place is awesome! You stay with your car which I totally prefer and the wash itself got my car really clean and looking great with no damage or scratches or that dried out look you can get from some places. But then the vacuums that are included with the wash. You vacuum your own car which again I vastly prefer and you can take as long as you like and they have an awesome amount of suction in their machines so it got all the dog hair out of my carpet and then they have three high pressure air blowing things that cleaned all the little cracks and crevices in my car with ease!! I would come just to use that thingy it was so cool!! And there is also one that shoots water. I will definitely be back next time I need to clean my car and with a dog that goes everywhere with me that is really often. So if you have to deal with dog hair embedded in your carpet and seats having the time to vacuum and work them all out is the best . So this is a pet owners paradise for car cleaning!!!!!

My family and I happily wash all our vehicles here. For the same price as the local competition, they include tire shine and damp microfiber towels for finishing touches. And, because they have lots of parking, they usually allow you to take your time drying and vacuuming your car. Also, their staff are friendly and attentive. A few areas for growth: (1) Staff should use the prep gun at the beginning of the wash like other car washes do. It’s especially helpful for the back of the car where the car wash often misses (2) Somehow adjust the vacuums, so the hoses aren’t laying in dirty water. I often go home with stains on my clothes from this. (3) Discounted monthly rates for clients with fleets.

Lux Express Car Wash deserves more than 5 stars. The whole team was extremely patient, professional, and respectful from start to finish. They really take their time and pay attention to every detail — my car came out spotless. You can tell they actually care about their work and about customer satisfaction. Big shoutout to the owner — a truly good man who runs the place the right way. And special respect to the manager, Dalila, for being so professional and respectful. Great leadership shows in the service. Highly recommend this place if you want quality work and real professionalism. Definitely coming back.
