I just had my ZR1 in at Carlos's shop for a full detail, PPF, and ceramic coating on the entire car, and I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Carlos and his team did a fantastic job, they were done quickly, and there was absolutely no funny business like the sort I've unfortunately experienced at other shops. Carlos has detailed/PPF'd more than 10,000 cars which is mind blowing, but he treated me with the utmost respect and I will be bringing every single one of my cars to him in the future. I had C&J install fully body paint protection film on my BMW X5 in June of 2022. Both the XPEL product and the application by Carlos and his team were excellent. You can see the results in the first picture. In October of 2023, someone accidentally hit the bumper of the X5 while parking. You can see the paint transfer on picture two. I was able to remove the paint transfer with detail spray after which it was very difficult to see that there had been an accident. However, the collision tore the paint protection film. Luckily although the film was ripped, the underlying paint was not damaged. In picture three, you can see the bumper after new PPF was applied. The underlying panel was as good as new with no damage sustained in the accident. You can tell where the new PPF if is because it is clean and shiny where the rest of the car is dirty.. I was able to drop off the car to Carlos and get it back in perfect condition with the new PPF the same day. If I didn't have the PPF, it would have been a more costly paint job of the entire bumper. The car would have been unavailable for multiple days while getting repainted. Given how thin XPEL is, it is surprising how well it works. After more than a year, the film has protected against rock chips, washing swirl marks and even a parking lot scrape exceedingly well. You can see from the dirt on picture three, that the car has been on the road. The film is still flawless with the exception of what looks like a very small stone strike that probably didn't penetrate the film on one A pillar. I believe the PPF prevented a stone chip in that location. The self-healing clear coat of the paint protection film, keeps the film looking brand new, and is an amazing feature by itself. It is nice to be able to wash the car and not have to worry about adding swirl marks. The Xpel film is an amazing product and Carlos is an artisan of installation. I highly recommend XPEL and C&J Paint Protection Film LLC. Update: November 2025. In the summer of 2025 it looks like a red car scraped the front bumper and wheel well. You can see some red paint transfer in picture 4. While the scrape looks deep, the underlying paint was pristine after removing the PPF. You can see in photo 5, that there was no damage to the car.

It is especially important that new RV's be protected as they frequently travel off road and have a lot of windage. I had Carlos apply X-Pel PPF to the cab and front cap and other forward facing surfaces of my LTV Unity, ceramic to the rest of the house and tint my cab windows. Today 2 years later, my RV still looks brand new and it remains easy to wash off bugs, sap and road film. I thought the price very fair for the amount of work required. I thoroughly recommend that all Danbury area RV owners bring their vehicle to C&J Paint Protection to have a similar treatment done.

Carlos is a true professional and a gentleman. He knows his craft very well and uses only the best quality products. It is very cool to have the opportunity to have paint protection film applied to my cheap WRX next to high end exotic cars. I have a friend who installs PPF and when he saw the complex tight curves on my WRX Carlos and his crew applied the PPF on, he said he probably couldn't have done that. There is a reason people trust C&J for their high end rides, he is the best in the area. If you look at my photos, the front bumper, hood, front fenders, A-pillars, a section of the roof and rear doors were done. It was my first PPF/Ceramic experience. I did plenty of research and spoke to a few other shops in the Danbury area before decided to go with Carlos after meeting with him in person. He explained everything in detail and took his time to answer all the questions. I went with partial PPF (full front + 4 doors ) + ceramic coating for my 2025 Escalade. The SUV was dropped off on a Monday and it was ready to be picked up on Friday. I picked it up the following Monday after returning from a week-long business trip and Carlos happily accommodated the extra few days of the Escalade taking up space in his shop. I could not be happier with the results!!! It looked better than the day I drove it off the dealership lot. Carlos and sons took their time and the edges were all tucked under. With the ceramic coating on top of PPF the surfaces are just next level smooth and silky. The wheels were also ceramic coated. I washed it 7 days after picking it up, well more like a rinse really. The water just beaded up and ran off, didn’t have to apply soap since it wasn’t all that dirty. Ceramic coating makes washing easier and faster since not much dirt sticks to the surface. I highly recommend Carlos for your PPF and/or ceramic coating needs: top notch quality, attention to detail, Xpel certified dealer, 20+ years in the business, and competitive pricing. Everyone else pales in comparison!

I truly believe I am fortunate to have found Carlos, owner of C&J Protection Film LLC and his team of competent and professional workers as I wanted to protect my new 2024 Mercedes Sprinter, a certified Class B RV, from the elements of travel and off-road environments. Carlos applied Xpel PPF to the front hood, painted fenders, headlights, fog lights, roof line, and lower panels from front to rear. Ceramic coating was then applied to all of the painted surfaces. Carlos is the best in class in terms of communication, professionalism, knowledge, attention to detail, honesty, fair pricing and customer satisfaction.
