Bought and used car and they didn’t even do the basic maintenance on the car: -Wipers were broken -The car didn’t have a jack or the wheel lock for the wheels - in other words, if I get a flat tire I will need to call a town truck because I don’t have a way to change the tire myself or even to remove the tire since I don’t have the wheel lock. -Oil life was at 74%. They didn’t even change the oil. -On the day of the delivery the car has the engine light on. This is before me driving the car out of their lot. -I have been texting the sales rep and he is not even responding my messages at all. In general this is my first and last car buying experience with BMW Temple - Garlyn Shelton★☆☆☆☆ a week ago

My concern/complaint is more related to BMW Corp than Garlyn Shelton BMW Temple. BMW Corp issued specific recalls on specific VIN numbers within the 5 Series. A known problem with BMW 550i powertrain related to a manufacturing error impacting transfer of power from the driveshaft to the rear wheels. BMW Corp only wanted to pay for repairs on certain VIN numbers and not other VIN numbers within the group. BMW Corp as well as Garlyn Shelton BMW have decided to cherry-pick which vehicles to repair at their cost. Since the issue is known, it should be paid for by BMW Corp. I would not recommend purchasing a BMW 5 Series from anywhere unless they can prove the powertrain malfunction has been addressed.★★★☆☆ a week ago
