I had recently taken my BMW X3 on a road trip up to northern Idaho and back, and it was in need of some TLC. After doing some research online, I came across Best Detail and decided to try them out given that they had good reviews online and were within walking distance from where I lived. Jose definitely did not disappoint. I was literally embarassed to drop off the car because it was so dirty, and when I got it back, it basically looked brand new. Jose was super friendly, professional and great at communicating as he worked on your car -- and he even finished ahead of schedule on mine. After driving it around for a few days, I tried to find spots that were missed or maybe needed a touch-up, but I was not able to find one. I will use Jose and Best Detail again. However I must warn you, the saddest part about the service is the fact that you'll have to drive your car and get it dirty again!

If I could leave 10 stars, I would! They are hands down the most detailed, thorough crew I've ever found. Honestly, it's such a great value for the money. I've brought four different difficult cars/vans to them and each one has come back looking like new. I highly recommend them as a repeat customer myself. Don't waste your time looking else where, go with the BEST!

Two weeks later, friends and strangers are still complimenting my car because it looks that good. It already looked good, dirty but cute. But now, it's amazing. Best Detail really is the best detailing place. The owner has years of experience detailing cars in Oakland and Best Detail is independent and minority-owned by a long-time community member. Super professional, great work and a really convenient location (close to BART, Lake Merritt and all of Uptown and Whole Foods).

I completely forgot to write a review but I remembered out of the blue today. This place is PHENOMENAL after my dog had multiple accidents in my back seat I was worried I would have to replace the seats to clean it for good. The team at best detail kept my car over night and cleaned it with a deep treatment over the summer which completely removed the smell. The people who work there were really friendly and rinsed me of my own family. The experience was worth every penny and I definitely can see myself coming back there after this winter.

I brought my car in to get detailed inside and out. I had some stains on my seat and middle console, years of dust and dirt, and plenty of dog hair. When I picked my car up, it looked brand new; no signs of any stains, dust, wear, tear, or dog hair. Best Detail did an excellent job cleaning my car and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Jose was also excellent at coordinating drop off and pickup and it was reasonably priced with no hidden fees. Again, couldn't recommend them enough!

I LOVE THIS PLACE and the reason why is the customer service and the fantastic job they did on my car. I had a cat's mess of fluids in my car from a trip to the vet and needed those messes cleaned up on short notice. Jose worked with me to find the best service for me and the price was right for me too. I love Jose and he honestly does remind me of my own dad who also runs a small business. Jose and his team hella good! Best full interior/exterior I've ever had, and at competitive pricing. I'll be coming here for my annual summer detailing from now on. Best Detail washed and dried the carpet, buffed out any scratches they found, and since I brought a paint pen I bought from the dealership they were even able to touch up all the rock chips on my front bumper. Their work brought out whole new level of shine & color, my baby literally looks like I just drove her off the showroom floor. Definitely living up to their name, this shop is a cut above all of the full detail jobs I've paid the same price for in the past.
