They are a family owned and operated business where the office is small, yet cozy, warm, and exuding a homey vibe. The couple is very friendly and service is quick. I really appreciate the extra mile they go - giving coupons for the next visit, sharing snacks, and scheduling earlier than their opening time for emergencies. I also really appreciate that they only fix what needs to be fixed and don't bombard you with the "extras" or unnecessary/early updates. I'm newer to Bellingham and have tried several different auto repair places and Barnett's is by far the best. The family I live with and I are all repeat customers, trust the service and will continue to take our 6 vehicles there.

This is the best mechanic's shop I've ever dealt with. I called Doug at Barnett Automotive on the recommendation of a friend, and was very happy with the transaction - he fixed one dumb issue with my car (entirely my fault, long story) and another that I assumed would cost much more than it ended up being. He also drives a very cool old truck, so I am sure he has good taste, as well!
